What percentage error it will produce when the wheel circumference reduces to 3100 mm? 6.06% Less Let the wheel rotation is N rpm, than the distance travelled in 1 hour will be (C*N*60/1000) Km; Displayed Speed= 3300*N*60/1000= 198N and Actual is 3100*N*60/1000=186N. It will record 12N less and error will be (12N/198N)*100= 6.06% Less 9 The Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 came into force in the year 2000 10 The technique used for separating drug from blood is Chromatography Chromatography is a separation technique used to separate the different components in a liquid mixture. It was introduced by a Russian Scientist Michael Tswett. Chromatography involves the sample being dissolved in a particular solvent called mobile phase. The mobile phase may be a gas or liquid. The mobile phase is then passed through another phase called stationary phase. The stationary phase may be a solid packed in a glass plate or a piece of chromatography paper. 11 Matter exists in how many states? 5 Matter exits in five state namely solid, liquid, gas, plasma and Bose Einstein Condensate. In day to day affair, we observe only three states i.e. solid, liquid and gas 12 A bulb having 100 lumen output, uses optics to concentrate the entire output in half stredian, than the luminou intnsity will be 200 candela Luminous intensity is the perceived power per unit sterdian therefore, 100/(1/2)=200 candela 13 The scheudle maximum noise level in silent zone during night time is 40 14 What is the molecular mass of nitric acid 63 Formula of Nitric Acid is HNO3 and molecular mass will be calculated as sum of atomic mass of the constituents as 1+14+3*16=63 15 Percentage of oxygen in air is around 0.21 The composition of air is nitrogen = 78$, oxygen = 20.9%, argon = 0.8% 16 Dadasaheb Award was instituted in 1969 and who won the first award? Devika Rani 17 Submerged Arc welding is the process used for where the molten metal is submerged under granular fusible flux 18 A piezoelectric force transducer has a charge sensitivity of 20 pC/N. It is connected to a charge amplifier and overall gain of transducer and amplifier is 50 mV/N. The gain of amplifier is 2.5mV/pC The gain of the amplifier will always with volt signal at numerator and input signal at the denominator 19 WHO and Indian Standard norms for limit of Hg containimination of Mercury is .001mg/l 20 Elements are defined as the number of proton it possess 21 Avogadro number is a fixed number equal to 6.022*1023 defines the number of moles of what in 1 mole of any substance all The number of particles i.e. atom, molecules or ions present in 1 mole of any substance is fixed, with a value of 6.022*1023. This is an experimentally obtained value and called Avogadro Constant. The mass of 1 mole of a particular substance is always constant. It is equal to sum total of relative masses of atoms or molecules in grams. 22 In Tungston Inert Gas called TIG welding process, the consumable material is Separate filler material Tungston is only an electrode to sustain the arc and filler material is used continously to fill the gap 23 Weight of 1 kg mass is 1 Kg Unit of mass is Kilogram and same is taken for the weight. It is in Physics, that it is taken as the force of attraction due to gravity and is Mg equal to 1 Newton. Newton is the unit of force. 24 Koyto Protocol is an international treaty to control Greenhouse gases emission Nuclear safety is vienna convention 25 What is a tissue? A groups of cells which is meant for a specific task is called tissue Tissue and Division of Labour: In complex organisms, different tasks are carried out by different organs and organ systems. Tissues are the first step towards division of labour in complex organisms. A groups of cells which is meant for a specific task is called tissue. 26 Each living cell has got a certain specific components within it called organelle 27 The US president who served only one term of 4 years in the office George H W Bush 28 Resistive Welding process involves use of clamping of two surfaces and passage of high current which melts the two surfaces and their welding The advantages of the method include efficient energy use, limited workpiece deformation, high production rates, easy automation, and no required filler materials. Weld strength is significantly lower than with other welding methods, making the process suitable for only certain applications. It is used extensively in the automotive industry—ordinary cars can have several thousand spot welds made by industrial robots. A specialized process, called shot welding, can be used to spot weld stainless steel. 29 Precision of a measuring device tells about the degree of freedom from random error There are four characteristics of errors in measurement termed as Precision, Accuracy, Repeatability and Reproducibility having different application. Accuracy: The accuracy of an instrument is a measure of how close the output reading of the instrument is to the correct value. In practice it is quoted in terms of inaccuracy percentage on the measured value.
Precision: It is a term that describes an instrument’s degree of freedom from random errors. If a large number of readings are taken of the same quantity by a high precision instrument, then the spread of readings will be very small.
Repeatability: It describes the closeness of output readings when the same input is applied repetitively over a short period of time keeping all measurement conditions, instrument, observer, location and use similar.
Reproducibility: It describes the closeness of output readings for the same input when there are changes in the method of measurement, observer, measuring instrument, location, conditions of use and time of measurement.30 Montreal Protocol is an internation treaty to cotrol Ozone layer 31 The motion is said to be uniform when the acceleration is zero The acceleration has be zero means the speed not increasing and motion takes place at a uniform speed with any change in the speed. However, in actual practice some acceleration is required to compensate the retarding force arising out due to surface/air friction. 32 Plant tissues are of two types of which one is Meristematic and what is the second one? Permanent Tissue Plant tissues are of two main types, viz. meristematic tissue and permanent tissue. The distracters mentioned are types of meristematic type of tissue. 33 Tashkant agreement was signed between India and Pakistan in which country? USSR 34 Principle of measurement of barometric pressure is also used for the measurement of Altitude Barometric pressure reduces with increase in altitude due to reduction in the weight of air column above it. Altitude is calibrated with pressure as z= c*log(P₀/P), where P is the pressure at altitude z. 35 CPCB, a technical wind works under the Ministry of Environment and Forest 36 An artificial satellite is moving in a circular orbit of radius 42250 Km and takes 24 hours to complete one revolution.
