Achievement – Indian Railways increases speed of long-distance trains by 30 kmph
In what could well be regarded as a major achievement for the Indian Railways, the railways have been able to manage the maximum speed of all the long-distance trains up to 130 kmph from the previous average of 100 kmph. Importantly, the Indian railways are often accused of being too slow, even running a lesser speed than the prescribed speed limit.

sir i am sse trd and my interview of engineering serviecs examination is scheduled on 3 novemeber 2016, what they can ask about railway from me in interview? plz sir tell me
They will generally not ask more about Railways specific, but becuase you are already working SSE/TRD, than certainly they may ask questions on Electrical department functioning i.e. loco, trd, general services etc.
sir i also got interview call from drdo for scientist b post through gate 2016 (air 42 ), suppose sir i am selected in drdo which is grp a gazzeted post in ministry of defence , will i pay training cost to railway , i am apprentice sse trd and sir i am trying hard to get out this job , i left HPCL and joined sse this was my biggest mistake . plz reply my answer sir
Leaving HPCL and joining SSE was certainly a great mistake. There are many seeking advise on this post about the comparison. The designation SSE i.e. Senior Section Engineer makes the people to start thinking otherwise. Now you had the DRDO post, you should join it. Had you fllled any bond before joining Railways, than certainly, otherwise forget it.
yes sir i have filled bond for 5 yrs . sir isnt there any provision for bond transfer from central govt to central govt and sir suppose i join drdo without paying bond will this effect my future carrier?
Start your career with a clean slate and I would certainly suggest to pay the bond money.
